This simple jig provides the required 1 1/2" raised fascia height. The tile rests on the outer rim of the plywood. Tack two jigs to the deck at a rafter location suitably spaced for the length of the fascia to be installed. Slit the plywood at 10" from outside of fascia location. Raise the fascia and plywood until it touches the jig and nail in place.
