Frame skylight boxes as per skylight manufacturer specification. The depth of the box will be 2" x 6" for flat tiles and 2" x 8" for Roman Shape tiles. Place blocking and cross bracing as indicated and provide nailer for tile battens.
Skylight box height use 2" x 6" box for flat profile tiles, or 2" x 8" for Roman profile tiles.
Install similar dimension lumber at skylight location as shown.
For roofs with solid decks increase box height dimension by the thickness of the vertical lath thickness and refer to specifications on plans.
